What We Do
Housing
Veterans make up 50-60% of the homeless population. We want to change that. We have access to city, state, and federal programs that help find housing for Vets. There are also grants available to Veterans to build new homes. We'll help you find safe shelter for you and your family.
Vehicles & Transportation
We can partner with car dealerships and other agencies to help Veterans obtain a vehicle. We'll help with things like driving classes, getting your driver's license, and navigating the paperwork involved in licensing or getting a vehicle loan.
Job Assistance
We do whatever it takes to help you find work. We can help with things like creating a resume, starting your job search, career training, practicing for job interviews, helping you get the right outfit for your interview, and more.
Behavioral Health Issues
Joes Assisting Joes wants to be the place where you feel comfortable being who you are, and we want to create a Veteran-friendly environment where you can begin a new life as a civilian. Many Vets have behavioral health issues and need guidance. Because we are Veterans ourselves, we know what it's like to overcome these types of issues. If you suffer from feeling

Rehab Programs for Substance Abuse
When you don't know how to handle the everyday stress in life, it's easy to turn to drugs and alcohol to help you cope. We can help you if this coping mechanism has become an addiction.
We can help you get involved in rehab programs for substance abuse, and we also offer a variety of therapy groups. Our goal is to assist Veterans in getting all the help they need to grow into their dreams. If you need us, we want to help any way we can.
